I am a married mother of a toddler from Houston, and I work part-time in sales. In my free time, I enjoy reading and engaging in DIY projects.

I struggled to lose the baby weight on my own before discovering Copper State FIT. While I would occasionally lose a few pounds, I would inevitably gain them back, leaving me feeling stuck and frustrated.

Although I tracked macros and performed HIIT workouts, I failed to make consistent progress since I couldn’t stick with it for long. Every few weeks, an event, a busy schedule, a holiday, or an illness would derail my progress, causing me to feel discouraged and stuck. It felt like I would take one step forward and three steps back, making it challenging to gain long-term momentum.

In the past, I often felt like a failure when things became too complicated, such as having to create new recipes that matched my macros or follow intricate workout plans. The complexity would lead me to feel overwhelmed and give up. However, CSF’s straightforward approach helped me stay focused and committed. And, the accountability calls kept me on track when I normally would have stopped.

Once I lost my first 10 pounds with CSF, without resorting to extreme measures such as grueling workouts, starvation, or giving up my favorite foods, I began to feel more optimistic. It gave me hope that I could realistically achieve my weight loss goals, shed my baby weight, and even surpass them.

Now, I am considerably more confident. I feel like my old self again, and have an increased level of energy that allows me to keep up with my little one. During my time with CSF, I learned three valuable lessons that have made a significant impact on my weight loss success:

  1. It’s crucial to engage in daily movement, whether that means a workout or a simple stroll around the neighborhood.
  2. I realized that I can still indulge in the foods and drinks I love, but moderation is key.
  3. Staying adequately hydrated throughout the day reduces my hunger and the chances of overeating.

During my time with CSF, I not only successfully shed all the baby weight, but I also lost an extra 10 pounds, making a total of 30 pounds! In addition, I lost 17 inches and over 11% of my body fat! As a result, I can now wear clothes that I haven’t been able to fit into for years

Without the guidance and assistance of my coach and Copper State FIT, achieving my weight loss goal would have been out of reach. I’d still be carrying the baby weight and feeling unhappy with myself, and my overall health.
