I’m originally from Washington state, now living in Arizona. I’m the oldest of three sisters in a very large family. I enjoy being outdoors, camping, puzzles, sewing, and riding my motorcycle.
Weight has been a struggle for my whole life. As I got older, especially after menopause, it became harder and harder to keep the weight off, no matter how healthy I tried to eat. I did Weight Watchers, the 21-Day Fix, and a few other programs, but without much success. It seemed that no matter what I did, nothing helped me lose weight.
The coaching at Copper State Fit was a big part of my success. Understanding the right amount of proteins, carbs, and fats for my body’s needs, along with having hundreds of pre-made recipes with this information, made things so much easier!
The weight started to come off almost right away. When it continued to come off, I knew I was finally doing something that worked! I feel so much better about myself, knowing that I don’t have to settle for being overweight. I no longer feel like I’m constantly trying to hide my size.
Three things I’ve learned since being with CSF:
- How to better read food labels.
- How to make better choices with food, whether eating out or at a get-together.
- Confidence that I can continue with this journey.
I have more confidence in myself. I originally wanted to lose just 10 to 15 pounds and ended up losing 45 pounds and over 21% body fat, which is amazing!
If I hadn’t decided to work with CSF, I’d probably still be struggling to keep from putting on extra weight, and more than likely losing that struggle, and not being happy.
I was skeptical about CSF but decided to give it a try (in part because my sister had success), and I’m so happy that I did! I feel I am a walking testimony that the CSF program can and does work!
