I’m from Chandler, AZ. I’m a wife, mom of two, and a Product Owner at a financial institution. In my free time, I love CrossFit, softball, snowboarding, fishing, hunting, scuba diving—pretty much anything that gets me outside.

But I was really struggling to get my nutrition back on track. My weight and body fat weren’t where I wanted them to be, and it was affecting how I performed at the gym.

I had tried tracking macros on my own, and even worked with a dietitian for a while, but I just wasn’t feeling motivated. I also felt hungry all the time, and as someone who’s competitive by nature, I needed something that would challenge me.

That’s when I decided to join Copper State FIT’s 6-Week Challenge.

The structure of the program made all the difference. We made small, manageable changes each week, which kept me from feeling overwhelmed. Plus, the challenge really brought out my competitive side, which helped keep me motivated.

One of the biggest surprises? I rarely felt hungry, even while in a calorie deficit! Before joining Copper State FIT, I realized I had been under-eating, which was holding me back in my workouts. I also loved the “consistency, not perfection” approach—it helped me stay on track without feeling like I had to be perfect.

After the 6-Week Challenge, I was so happy with my progress that I decided to continue with one-on-one coaching to see how far I could go.

It felt amazing to finally be eating enough to feel satisfied, and still watch the scale and my body fat percentage go down! My performance at the gym drastically improved, and I felt so much better in my clothes. Now, I’m eating fruits and vegetables at every meal, making sure I get enough protein, and keeping an eye on my sugar and fiber intake.

Since then, I’ve hit several personal records at the gym, and even qualified as an individual in the Desert City Classic competition. My body fat percentage has dropped to 17%, and I’m fitting into smaller clothes again. Best of all, my success has motivated my husband to start making healthier food choices too!

Honestly, if I hadn’t signed up for that initial 6-Week Challenge, I’d probably still be stuck where I was last year. If you’re on the fence about joining Copper State FIT, just go for it—you won’t regret it!
