I am an adventurous soul that has been blessed with a wonderful husband and daughter who I love to explore new places and make lasting memories with. I enjoy hiking scenic trails, camping under the stars, relaxing on our boat and traveling. I thrive on pushing my own limits (in and out of the gym) and building genuine connections. I am always ready to share a smile and an uplifting word along the way. After our move from WA to AZ, the loneliness of leaving friends and family weighed heavily, and I often felt disconnected and out of sync with myself. I was in a time of searching for grounding and a way back to feeling like me again.

I had tried eating healthy before, but I never stuck with it for my own sake. I’d start with good intentions, but following through for myself was always the hardest part. I knew what to do, but I wasn’t doing it just for me. It was incredibly frustrating to feel like I was doing all the right things but never seeing any real results. I kept putting in the effort, yet it felt like I was taking one step forward and three steps back. That constant struggle made it hard to stay motivated and hopeful.

CSF is different because my coach, Adam, provided the tools I needed to succeed. He guided me every step of the way with weekly or bi-weekly accountability check-in calls and offered tips and tricks to help me navigate the weekends, which were always the hardest for me to stay on track. He was there to encourage me to keep going, offering gentle nudges and timely reminders whenever I felt discouraged or tempted to give up. He knew exactly when to check in with support and motivation, helping me stay focused and on track—even during the toughest moments when results seemed slow or progress felt out of reach.

I felt absolutely amazing, finally seeing real results that came from doing the hard work and staying consistent. Most of the time it was with my non scale victories, like fitting into “goal” clothes I had tucked away or with performance goals I was meeting in the gym. It was empowering to realize that the effort I put in was paying off, and that sticking to the process was truly making a difference. That breakthrough gave me renewed confidence and motivation to keep pushing forward.

I’ve gained a new sense of confidence—not just in how I look, but in how I feel about myself inside. By keeping a commitment to myself, I’ve built strength and resilience that remind me I’m capable of doing hard things. This inner confidence has been just as transformative as any physical change—and it’s inspired me to encourage others, showing them that they too can overcome challenges and do hard things.

Consistency Over Perfection: I learned that making steady, consistent choices matters more than trying to be perfect every day. Small, sustainable habits add up to big results over time.

Planning Ahead: Adam taught me the importance of preparing meals and/or batch cooking in advance, especially to navigate challenging times like weekends. This micro meal planning helped me avoid impulsive choices and stay on track. It was truly the biggest part of my success.

Listening to My Body: I gained awareness of how different foods affect my energy and mood, learning to choose what truly fuels me rather than following a restrictive diet. This mindful approach has made eating healthy feel natural and enjoyable.

My biggest wins have been a total shift in my mindset around tracking meals and my relationship with food, losing nearly 40 pounds and over 18% body fat, building the strength to back squat more than my body weight for the first time in years. I finally achieved a strict pull-up, backpacked to Havasupai Falls in May, fit back into my goal clothes (and even had to buy smaller sizes!), and, most importantly, I feel confident in my own skin again. All of this has given me the courage to begin a new chapter as a CrossFit coach at my gym.

If I hadn’t decided to start with CSF, I’d likely still feel stuck, spinning in the same cycle of frustration and wondering what more I could possibly do to reach my goals. CSF gave me the structure, support, and accountability I needed to finally break that pattern and move forward. If you’re feeling stuck, frustrated, or like you’ve tried everything without seeing real results, I can’t recommend working with the coaches at CSF enough. Their guidance, accountability, and encouragement truly changed my life—helping me break old patterns, build confidence inside and out, and prove to myself that I can do hard things. You don’t have to figure it all out alone; the support and tools you’ll get from CSF make all the difference. Take the leap—you’ll be amazed at what you’re capable of!
