I’m originally from California, with time spent in Texas and now Arizona. Outside of work, I enjoy golf, reading, and spending time with my two huskies. I also have a passion for baking, especially when I get to share what I make with others.
I tried countless diets, but nothing ever seemed to work — and it left me feeling uncomfortable in my own skin. Every time the scale refused to move, the frustration grew. At under 5 feet tall, losing weight felt even more impossible. I kept researching, convinced there had to be a plan out there for me, but each time it failed, I would give up and end up feeling worse than when I started.
Working with CSF, I never had to give up the foods I loved! Instead, I learned how to balance my portions in a way that fit my life. When I missed the mark or fell short of my goals, Coach Adam never shamed me. Instead, he helped me realign and get back on track. That encouragement kept me moving forward. I became more aware of what I was eating and realized how easy it is to overeat when I don’t track. By learning to listen to my body, I gained control, and it left me feeling stronger both physically and mentally.
I have more confidence now, and I’ve even inspired those around me to make better choices by modeling the habits I’ve built into my lifestyle.
While working with CSF, I learned a few things that made a big impact on my success — and they’re habits I’ll continue long after coaching:
- Daily steps are so valuable, even if that’s all the exercise I get in a day. I used to struggle to hit 8K, but now I can consistently reach 12K without a problem.
- Eating whole foods allows me to eat more, feel full longer, and keep my energy steady throughout the day.
- Planning my day in advance helps me go in with a clear strategy to meet my goals, and takes away the stress of trying to figure it out as I go.
Some of my biggest wins with CSF include:
- Running two 5Ks, something I never thought I’d accomplish before.
- Losing over 32 pounds of fat, adding 4 pounds of lean muscle, and dropping more than 16% body fat and 17 inches overall.
- Feeling more energized throughout the day instead of constantly battling fatigue.
If it wasn’t for CSF, I would most likely be recycling old plans that I tried in the past and fall back into the same bad habits over and over again. That’s the cycle I was in before coaching, and it never got me anywhere.
To anyone on the fence about this program, I’d say this: yes, it’s a commitment. But, think about where you want to be a year from now. Imagine how proud you’ll be knowing you took one small step today to change your life. That’s what I did, and it made all the difference.
