I’m an Amazon manager. Wife. Proud mom. And someone who, not too long ago, couldn’t figure out why nothing I tried ever actually worked.
“It always felt like a cycle of starting over.”
I had tried the tracking apps. I’d attempted different diets. But without structure or real accountability, I kept falling back into old habits. The weight would come off, and then it would come back. Over and over again.
“It was really frustrating and nerve-racking. I often felt irritated because I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong.”
It wasn’t just the scale. I felt more moody, more tired. Less confident. Less comfortable in my own skin. And that affected everything, including how I showed up for the people I loved most.
I knew something had to change. I just wasn’t completely sure at first if Copper State FIT was the answer.
“What made it different was that I chose to trust the process.”
And then something shifted.
The scale started moving while I was still eating. Not starving. Not restricting. Just eating with a plan and a coach who genuinely cared whether I showed up. I had more energy. I felt better. And for the first time in a long time, I felt like my body was actually responding.
50 pounds gone… 26% body fat lost… and 27 inches smaller.
That was just the beginning.
I went from not running at all to completing full marathons. I finished my first triathlon. I completed a HYROX. I ran over 20 races.
Twenty races!!
“I’ve grown so much in my fitness journey beyond just weight loss.”
Today, life looks different. It feels freeing. I can enjoy food without guilt. I’m stronger than I’ve ever been. And the goal has completely changed.
“It’s no longer about chasing a number on the scale. It’s about strength, health, and being a role model for my baby girl.”
Here’s what I know now that changed everything:
- One bad day doesn’t determine the whole week. Reset and start fresh the next day.
- Eating out isn’t a failure. I just focus on choosing higher-protein options.
- Prioritizing protein, fruits, and vegetables consistently is the key to long-term success.
And if you asked me what I’d tell a close friend who was frustrated and stuck?
“It really works. It’s not about dieting or restriction. It’s about balance and learning how to enjoy the foods you love while still reaching your goals.”
