I’m a California girl, moved to Hawaii and landed in Kentucky 2 years ago. I have been married to my best friend for 29 years. I have 3 daughters, 2 son-in-laws and 5 little grandbabies. I currently care for my 19 year old with Down’s and handle billing for my husband’s landscape business. I’m going into my 3rd year as a beginning homesteader and love to repurpose vintage quilts into coats. I love the ocean, riding horses, playing softball and just being outdoors in general. Coming out of winter in Kentucky- I really love the sunshine and have missed it! 😉

Two years before finding CSF, I suffered a heart attack. I thought I ate somewhat healthy, worked out every day, and it hit me out of nowhere. It really threw me for a loop. After each doctor having a different method or way I should eat, I was frustrated and scared. I also was suffering from EOE and RA. I had developed such a bad relationship with food. Not an eating order, but never knowing what to eat for fear of a heart attack or food getting stuck in my throat. I needed help to get healthy and figure out how/what to eat appropriately.

I have eaten/tried Paleo, Keto, intermittent fasting, my own concoction, and years ago I tried WW. I went vegan after my heart attack. Nothing worked well or lasted.

As I dabbled with different methods, mostly trying to find what would help with inflammation, I would come up short. After my heart attack, I was told never eat meat again. I listened to the cardiologist until I did my own research and knew it wasn’t exactly what I needed, but wasn’t sure what to do to hit all my issues! After seeing a friend and how well she felt and then seeing her dads life truly transform from CSF help, I jumped!

I love the detailed help. Habit changing was huge for me. I like to fly by the seat of my pants, that didn’t always work with food. I had never owned a scale, because I raised girls ,and never wanted them to be a slave to the scale as young ladies. But Adam taught me to own each day, the weight, it has helped keep me accountable. Learning proper balanced meals and what portions for me actually look like. Also learning how much protein and why I need it! All game changers!

A few months in, my shape was changing. I was losing inches and body fat! But even better, I was feeling good! I realized I wasn’t eating enough most days. So the idea that I was eating more and losing was incredible! I can say I’m healthy now! In fact, I used to have 100ks of eosinophils in my biopsies of my esophagus. A few months ago, I had my esophagus biopsied (EOE issue) and stretched. I currently have ZERO eosinophils present! Which means no inflammation down there and all my other labs are with in normal ranges! I can eat the things my body tolerates and have learned the triggers. As my time comes to an end with CSF- I feel very well-equipped to step out on my own, something I didn’t think I’d be able to do.

I try to get all my water and protein in early in the day So I’m not playing catch-up in the evening. I also eat several of the same things rotated for breakfast and lunch- it helps me! It also helps to weigh daily!

Besides great blood panels and how good I feel both physically and mentally, I have lost 13% body fat, 5 inches in my waist and hips! I am currently in a good healthy range! I have lost 2 pants sizes, and no longer feel like I’m “frumpy in my fifties after a heart attack”!

If I hadn’t jumped in with CSF, I’d still be very unhealthy and have an unhealthy relationship with food. Trying to figure it out on my own.
I’d say jump! CSF is so well planned. You will be so well cared for. You only have one body, one life – take care of it! If I can do it, anyone can! Learn to be healthy!
